Developer mode

OpenAI’s ChatGPT with MCP connectors.

  1. In Settings → Connectors → Advanced, turn on “Developer mode”.

  2. Add a connector, choose MCP, and enter the server URL with authentication set to “None”:

  3. Enable the connector in the composer, then ask ChatGPT to search for an MCP server. Requires a plan with connector access.

Two tools, no setup

  • search_servers

    Keyword search over ~54,000 servers by name, organization, and description — ranked by relevance and popularity. Returns each server’s repo, registries, score, and its mcptoplist.com page.

  • get_server_details

    Full record for one server: untruncated description, GitHub stars, rank, version count, and the registries that list it.
