About MCP Toplist

MCP Toplist is an index of Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers. It tracks the full ecosystem across multiple registries — the Official MCP Registry, Glama, Smithery, mcp.so, and the GitHub modelcontextprotocol organization — and ranks them by a composite score derived from version count, release activity, GitHub stars, and listing age.

The site exists to make the MCP ecosystem legible: which servers are most active, which organizations are shipping the most, and how the catalog is growing over time. Every page is server-rendered and continuously updated as upstream registries publish new data.

Maintainer. Built and operated by BIFF.ai. We're an applied AI studio; MCP Toplist is part of how we keep our finger on the pulse of the protocol.

Corrections. If a server is mis-categorized, missing, or attributed to the wrong organization, email hello@biff.ai with the details. Most mapping issues self-correct on the next registry sync.
